If you have been wondering just what "biogenetic" means, there is an excellent example of the biogenetic understanding of human activities in terms of animal behavior in the article "God and gorillas" on the website Salon.com.

It's an interview by Steve Paulson with anthropologist Barbara J. King, author of Evolving God: A Provocative View on the Origins of Religion (Doubleday, 2007). It shows how really promising the anthropology-neurology linkage can be.
